"The World Belongs to the Reader" For National Reading Month 2023, the Teacher Librarian, Mrs. Chandima Dissanayake, and the staff of De Mazenod College Library and Learning Resource Center organized a Stamp Reading Program specifically for students of Grade 5 and 9. The lecture was held on Friday, November 03, 2023, with one group of students attending from 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and another group attending from 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. The venue for the event was De La Salle Hall. Mr. Niroshan Peiris made all necessary arrangements for the lectures with the support of the Principal Reverend Brother Janaka Fonseka, the Deputy Principal Reverend Brother Henry Dissanayake, and the Primary Head Mistress Reverend Sister Umeshika Gayani.
