Another colourful event successfully ended on 5th May 2022 at DMC Primary. It was the Sinhala and Tamil New Year Celebration. From grade 1-5 students took part in various events while the teacher's event was an eye-catching one among them. Pot breaking, Pillow fighting, climbing up the greasy pole, Marathon, අවුරුදු කුමරයා තේරීම were some of them. It was a fun-filled day for our students. They took part in the Awurudu Customs and shared the sweetmeats brought from home. This event was organized by Rev. Sr. Umeshika Gayani the Primary Headmistress and the sectional Heads with the fullest support of the teachers in the Primary Department. Our Special invitees Rev. Bro. Janaka Fonseka, Rev. Bro. Henry Dissanayaka and Rev. Fr. Chrishantha Thilakarathne graced this special occasion.
